QUEENSBOUND at the Backlot Reading Event

From Long Island City all the way to Jamaica, the poems of QUEENSBOUND explore the neighborhoods, vibrancy, and diversity Queens, embedding audio recordings from the borough’s leading poets on a redesigned version of the Queens subway map

In September, as a part of the Kaufman Arts District’s 2019 Backlot Festival, QUEENSBOUND will take center stage. QUEENSBOUND contributors and editorial board members Abeer Y. Hoque, Jared Harél, Joseph O. Legaspi, and founder KC Trommer will read and introduce new contributors Nadia Q. Ahmad, Pichchenda Bao, Ryan Black, and Sahar Romani, all of whom will read and share their work.

QUEENSBOUND at the Backlot is funded by a generous grant from Poets & Writers and the QUEENSBOUND project was created thanks to a New Work Grant from the Queens Council on the Arts.
